Fendalton Road
Sir, —As a mother, I feel I would like to add my voice to that of Wendy Sisson (October 10) in appealing to the council to think of the young and all those who live on major roads such as Fendalton Road. Although the loss of land is of little consequence to me, as it does not affect me, the possible loss of children’s lives does. Four lanes of hurrying traffic is a formidable sight,, especially to children and the aged. I wonder if the advocates of such would wish their children to face four lanes when two would suffice.—Yours, etc.,
G. CAMPBELL. October 10, 1986.
