No change in schedule
No change has been made to next week’s South Island meat export schedule of prices to farmers, meat-pro-cessing companies have advised.
The Primary Producers Cooperative Society has announced above-schedule payments to farmers who supplied beef for the January to June pool. The extra payment will be $l4 a 100 kg for prime cattle, and $ll a 100 kg for manufacturing cattle, representing an average sum of $37 a head for prime cattle, $2O for manufacturing cows, and $43 for bulls.
