PA Auckland The Belinda Trainor appeal has raised more than $155,000 and would have reached $250,000 had she lived, according to its organisers. The targeted $lOO,OOO was reached in three weeks, and Ms Trainor travelled to Sydney with her parents for surgery a week ago. She died on
Tuesday evening after suffering two heart attacks at St Vincent’s Hospital before the transplant could be done. Trustees of the fund 1 will meet next week to decide what should happen to the money. Three approaches have been made on behalf of other New Zealanders needing transplants overseas. • 7
