Most common problem species
The plants listed below are those most likely to cause damage to sewer pipes. They are given in decreasing order of severity. But note that any sewer pipe in the root zone of any plant species can be affected. Plants generally have a root zone extending outwards about IV2 times the distance of their branches from the trunk.
