Timaru for live sheep
PA Napier The ports of Napier and Timaru will share a big live sheep contract of 500,000 long-tailed ram lambs to be sent to Saudi Arabia by New Zealand Agricultural Exports, Ltd. The company’s general manager, Mr Graeme James, said the contract had been confirmed, with delivery of the lambs to be-in May and June of 1987, Similar arrangements to last year’s for procurement of the lambs have been made through WrightsonDalgety. Price levels would also be similar to those of last year.
