Well depths
The Tipoka-1 well, 17km north of Opunake in South Taranaki, was at a depth of 4162 metres by 6 a.m. yesterday, Petrocorp (Exploration), Ltd, aid. At report time the well was preparing to drill ahead. The Ahuroa-1 well, about 20km south-east of Inglewood, was at 1794 m by 6 a.m. and drilling ahead. Anticipated depth is 3600 metres.
