Air N.Z. offer reduced fares
By JOHN W. FREER of Air New Zealand Air New Zealand provided domestic travellers with welcomed relief from expensive air fares when it recently announced the new "Super Thrifty” fare. Now, domestic holidaymakers can enjoy fare savings of up to 55 per cent on some routes. “Super Thrifty” fares are available to a number of destinations from Christchurch including Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin, Invercargill and Palmerston North. This
follows on from Air New Zealand’s successful and popular “Thrifty” fares. Both are designed for the flexible traveller who does not mind at what time of the day they travel. For this reason the “Thrifty” fares are well suited to the holiday traveller. By combining the “Thrifty” fares with the HOTPAC New Zealand “Go As You Please” product, holiday-makers can select from a wide range of attractively priced activities. "Go As You Please”
features everything from coach tours to snow skiing. Rental vehicles and hotel and motel accommodation are also included in the programme. The activities can be pre-paid and easily
booked through Air New Zealand or travel agents. Air New Zealand’s “Good Night Book” — also from the HOTPAC stable — offers travellers a comprehensive hotel booking guide.
The “Good Night Book” includes hotels such as the luxury Regent and Sheraton properties. Again, these can be booked in • conjunction with Air New Zealand air travel.
