Exsys sale

Adata Software, Ltd, of Christchurch, has announced that it has sold its product, Exsys, to the Crown Law Office.

A tender for a jobmanagement system, let by the Crown Law Office earlier this year, has been won by Adata and DataGeneral, which will supply the computer equipment.

“Exsys was used to model the system from specifications produced by the Crown Law Office,” said Mr John Moriarty, Adata’s chief executive.

“Development of the job management system took one of Adata’s analysts about 75 hours, and it then remained for minor customisation on screen lay outs and reports,” he said. The system will record details of cases assigned to Crown counsel, provide bibliographic retrieval, statistical and management reporting, and accounting facilities: It will be implemented on a DG MV2OOODC.
