TV host weds producer
PA Auckland A match made in the misty halls of Avalon was realised in Auckland on Saturday when the television pop show host, Phillipa Dann, married the producer, Brent Hansen, at Auckland. Ms Dann, aged 27, wore a cream Edwardian-style embossed silk doublebreasted long coat with lavender trim and lilac inset, designed by her sis-ter-in-law, Sharon Dann, over a long wrap-around skirt with matching pillbox hat and lavender ribbons.
She arrived at the church with her father, Ralph, in his restored 1936 Austin 10. Mr Hansen, aged 30, wore a dark dinner suit
with 8 red paisley tie and white carnation.
The Wellington television current affairs reporter, Keith Tannock, was best man.
The marriage was celebrated by the “Top Half’ presenter, John Hawkesby, and the Rev. Bill Moore in Howick’s historic Anglican Church. The 80 guests included the former “Radio With Pictures” host, Karen Hay, the Mockers lead singer, Andrew Fagan, and Miss Dann’s “True Colours” co-host, Dick Driver. A
After the wedding the bride’s mother, Marian Dann, would not reveal honeymoon plans. The newlyweds left the reception at the restaurant in a helicopter.
