Country bowlers win
Combined Country once again showed its depth of indoor bowls talent by beating Town, 4-2 in the fours and in the pairs in the return match for the Craw Cup at Kearneys Road. Town was too strong in the singles, winning 13 games with two drawn while Town won the second round, 43-41. Country was a clear winner overall, 87-81. Country last won this event in 1978.
