Public Notices OXFORD RECREATIONAL HUNTING AREA OXFORD Recreational Hunting Area comprises the hunting blocks within Oxford and Mount Thomas State Forests and has been managed as a recreational hunting area, under the Wild Animal Control Act, since 1981. Recreational Hunting Areas are managed under Wild Animal Control Plans, Issed by the Director-General of Forests. It is now Intended to revise the Wild Animal Control Act, 1977, the Canservator of Forests Invites submissions or proposals on management for recreational hunting within the area from interested groups or individuals.
