The Company’s plant is located in the Perth suburb of Canning Vale and is currently equipped with one line of Goss Metroliner Press of 5 units capacity which is currently being extended to 9'/2 units, a line of Goss Community presses together with a second line of Goss Metroliner Press of 9’/ 2 units presently undergoing installation. Essentially the appointees will be responsible to the Production Manager for the leadership and supervision of two or more press work teams operating on the Metroliner and/or Community presses with each team under the immediate direction of a Shift Foreman, Specific responsibilities will include: • Training and maintaining a top team of printers and obtaining optimum performance from the men and equipment available. ® Work planning, supervision of all printing activities undertaken by each team and co-ordinating maintenance of equipment. o Ensuring availability of appropriate paper, ink and other materials for planned production runs. • Ensuring timely delivery of printed products to the Mail Room and external customers within the quality and productivity standards determined by the Company. Ideally applicantswill have a printing trades background with a minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience in large scale press production.
