In all appointments preference will be given to persons with recent union plus union education experience and to those with interest/ experience in one or more of the following: • Training of union educators • Writing/produclng educational resource materials • Delegate and rank and file education \ • Working with Maori and Pacific Island workers • Industrial and legal experience , »Trade union economics All the above staff would be expected to have proven t ability in education or communication with working people, and to have an ability and interest in initiating affirmative action with groups such as women workers, Maori workers and workers of Pacific island origin. All national co-ordinators would have both regional and subject specialist responsibilities.
