Celebrating the arrival of the America’s Cup roadshow to Christchurch is the Red and Black jazz band in Cathedral Square yesterday. The promoters are raising funds for the New Zealand entry in the America’s Cup challenge from the travelling display, which features a replica of the 12 metre yacht. The roadshow will remain in the Square until noon today before making its way to the Industries Fair. Members of the band are, from left, Barry Blackmore, Colin Eaton, Steven Blackmore, aged eight, Kim Blackmore (rear) and Bob Fluerty.
