This array of 50s and 60s model vehicles is a sample of the hundreds of model cars, ships and military figures on display at the Arts Centre this week-end. The display is the second organised by the Canterbury Model Vehicle Club in conjunction with several other model clubs. Of particular note is the rare “Avengers” set seen above, showing Steed in his Bentley and Mrs Peel with her Lotus, complete with umbrellas. Entry to the show is $3 a family, or 50c a child.
