Fuego thriving
Special correspondent Palmerston North The Woodville galloper,. Fuego, is thriving in Melbourne, according to his trainer, Jeff Lynds. Fuego went from Brisbane late last season to join the stable of George Hanlon who told Lynds’ this week that Fuego had done .well since arriving, especially in the last two weeks. Lynds took Fuego to Brisbane to set him for the Fourex Cup, but the horse caught a virus and: had only one start there.* Rather than bring him' home, he was sent south* to be prepared for the big spring cups. Fuego is expected to race next over 1600 m. ;
