Obituary Mr Allan Parkhill
PA Dunedin Allan Parkhill, an All Black in the 19305, has died in Dunedin. He was 74.
Mr Parkhill, a butcher, was born in Palmerston and represented Otago in 1934-35.
He moved to Dunedin and was a member of the Pirates club when he played 10 matches, which included six internationals, for the All
Blacks in 1937-38. Mr Parkhill played as a No. 8 and was remarkably fast round the field.He played in the three tests against the 1937 Springboks and was included in all three internationals during the tour to Australia a year later.
Mr Parkhill scored three tries for the All Blacks and was one of the 21 All Blacks from the Pirates Club. v
