Cell death self-inflicted
PA Auckland The death of a Paremoremo prisoner in his assessment wing cell was self-inflicted, the North Shore Coroners Court has found. .
The Coroner, Mr Steven Osborne said Jeffrey Alan Pledger, aged 21, was
found dead in his cell on July 1. Sergeant Paul Major said there were no suspicious circumstances. Pledger was convicted of murdering Anne Linda Bloor, of Thames. Miss Bloor was found drowned in Otago Harbour.
