AMYES, Irene Frances — On August 26, 1986, at Ashburton Hospital, dearly loved wife of the late Alfred Charles Amyes, loved eldest sister of James B. Gallagher (Christchurch), Eleanor (Mrs S. J. Patton, Ashburton), Laura (Mrs Hartwell, Auckland), Winifred (Mrs Smythe, Christchurch), Betty (Mrs J. Green, Christchurch), and the . late Stanley Gallagher, and loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. Messages to 157 Knowles Street, Christchurch 5. BALFOUR, Olaf (Mick), of 8 Moore Street, Palmerston North - On August 26, 1986 (suddenly), at Palmerston North Hospital, dearly loved husband of Nell, loved father and father-in-law of Helen and Jim Kilsby (Christchurch), Eric and Lyndie (Napier), and Fran (Palmerston North), and loved granddad of Mandy, Tracey and Joellne, Gavin, Wendy, Celia, Michael and Richard; aged 62 years. Sadly missed. Service at The Lychway Chapel, corner of Princess and Grey Streets, Palmerston North, Tomorrow (Friday), at 11 a.m., thence to the Kelvin Grove Lawn Cemetery. BROCHERIE, Vincent Lucien — On August 27, 1986, at Christchurch Hospital, youngest son of the late Felex and Mary Brocherle, husband of Sheena, father of Carolyn (Sydney), brother of Lex (Wellington), loved brother of Ursula Hamilton, and the late Joy Kingsbury, and Patricia Blair, and will be sadly missed by Jeffrey, Patricia, Lois and Jane, and their children; aged 73 years. R.I.P. Garden flowers only. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated af St Patrick’s Church, Akaroa, Tomorrow (Friday), at 1 p.m., interment at the Akaroa Catholic Cemetery, at 2 p.m. John Rhlnd, Ltd, F.D.A.N.Z. (Inc.).

BURROWS, Claude Redvers — On August 27, 1986, at Ohoka, dearly loved husband of Thelma, loved father and father-in-law of Tom and Joan, and loved grandpa of Joanna, Sarah, Belinda, and Dean; in his 87th year. By family request, flowers respectfully declined. CAIRNS, Kerry Eileen — On August 27, 1986, at Christchurch Hospital, very dearly loved wife and friend of Ray, and deeply loved mother of Bind!, Damian, and Nadia; aged 33 years. Freed from too much pain and ’ suffering, borne with courage. Kerry’s Funeral service will be held in our Ferry Park Chapel, 297 Ferry Road, on Monday, September 1, at 10 a.m. J. CAIRNS, Kerry Eileen — Most dearly loved daughter- of Jim and Shirley O'Connell, loved sister of Trlsh, Jim, Kath, Sean, Maud, Matt and Bridget, and sister-in-law of Warren, Penny, Chris, Linda, Wayne and Andrew, and all her nieces and nephews. Will be loved and lovingly remembered always.
