M.P.’s sticky wicket
NZPA-AP Leith, Scotland A Scottish member of Parliament has found himself on a sticky wicket by complaining that his countrymen find cricket ‘‘boring and incomprehensible.” Mr- 5 Ron Brown, a
Labour M.P. from Leith, said this in a letter to the British Broadcasting Corporation. The Scottish Cricket Union, with 300 member clubs, said Mr Brown’s attack was “as badly aimed as a fast bowler’s worst delivery.”
