Village wiped out
NZPA-Reuter Yaounde A leakage of toxic volcanic gas has killed the entire population of a village in north-western Cameroun, and the death toll might be more than 1500, say travellers returning from the area. They had no other details of the disaster, which occurred on Friday when the gas seeped out round Lake Nios.
