Board creates new post
Mr Peter Morgan has been appointed deputy general manager of the Lyttelton Harbour Board.
The post is a new one and Mr Morgan, who was previously the board’s marketing manager, will also retain marketing responsibilities. Mr Morgan has worked for the board since 1976 when he helped to establish the Lyttelton container terminal. He managed the terminal until 1983, when he was appointed marketing manager. Before joining the board, Mr Morgan held senior managerial posts in Australia. In another move, Mr Peter Davie has been appointed a marketing executive for the board.
