Otahuhu dismisses traffic officer
PA Auckland An Otahuhu Borough Council traffic officer, Mr Aaron Nattrass, was yesterday dismissed after a council inquiry found him guilty of misconduct Mr Nattrass and/another traffic officer, Mr Paul Jackson, had been suspended since June when they made allegations of misconduct against their superior, Chief Traffic Officer Ernest Seath, • Mr Jackson is allowed to resume duties after he makes a written apology to the council on a number of grievances against him. He said he expected to tender his apology today and to resume work tomorrow. ' cWs Mr Nattrass, who faced six specific queries in respect to his involvement In the Seath case, said last evening he was dismissed because of his conduct in reporting the matter.. Most of the council’s complaints were related to Mr Nattrass’s making the allegations against Mr Seath on a television news programme. , 4 !
