Post Office go-ahead
PA Wellington The Government reorganisation of the Post Office into three separate businesses will start immediately, according to the Minister of State Services, Mr Rodger. He said yesterday the Cabinet had agreed to the immediate appointment of
three management boards to oversee the formation of telecommunications, postal, and savings bank companies. Mr Rodger said overseas experience had shown that such separate development provided a better base to achieve commercial objectives.
