Transport difficulties
The English Commonwealth Games team may be performing well at Edinburgh, but it is having a few transport problems. While team members were picking up medals on the athletics track at Meadowbank, the English women’s team bus was itself being picked up — by a low loader and taken to the vehicle pound. Later in the day, the English weightlifters’ bus was found to be boxed in by another vehicle as it made its way to the weightlifting venue.
