Cause of shed fire probed
Fire-safety officers are investigating the cause of a shed fire on the premises of a fuel supply company in Sawyers Arms Road. • The fire, in the shed used by Handifuel Fuel Systems, was noticed about 7.20 a.m. yesterday. Firemen were quickly on the scene and the building suffered only minor damage. However, sawdust was stored in the shed and the Fire Service was concerned that this might smoulder. An engine remained for most of the day.
