Port Moresby VACANCY Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following position: LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER IN HOME ECONOMICS (GTC) — PG671001/87 The position involves the training of Home Economics teachers for a two year Diploma in Secondary Teaching. Those successfully completing the Diploma qualify to teach Home Economics in Secondary Schools in the country. Applicants should possess a degree in Home Economics and must be qualified and experienced in the teaching of Home Economics at a secondary or tertiary level. A Masters Degree in the relevant field or in education is essential for appointment at Lecturer/Senior Lecturer level. Experience in teacher training would be highly advantageous, and teaching in PNG or other developing countries highly desirable. The successful applicant will be expected to take up duties about the end of January 1987.
