Investments in AMP at $200M
PA Wellington Total investments by individual policyholders in AMP’s portfolio and in-vestment-linked plans was now over $2OO million, AMP’s manager for New Zealand, Mr John Dingle, said. These plans were the accumulated funds of individual Investment-linked life insurance policies, used for members’ personal savings and protec-
tion, and for their own personal superannuation plans. The funds are invested in share, property and fixed interest assets. There is also an option to invest solely in AMP’s property portfolio. In the last three years, individuals’ investments would have shown an average return of 19.8 per cent after tax, almost twice the average inflation rate, he said.
