Xlh COMMONWEALTH GAMES SCOTLAND 1986
Wayne Paul’s Commonwealth Games ended yesterday when he was put out of the 400 m hurdles at the Meadowbank stadium.
Paul, of Canterbury, clocked 53.39, finishing fourth in the slower heat won by Canada’s Jon Graham.
The first five home in the other heat all finished faster than Paul,, who was nearly two seconds slower than his winning time in the New Zealand championships this year.
