Trade official named
PA Wellington A senior Trade and Industry Department official who played a big role in closer economic relations negotiations has been appointed secretary to the Market Development Board.
.Mr Fergus McLean, aged 46, is one of six executives with wide ranging business, research and legal skills who have
joined the board to help exporters plan and evaluate their activities. The board was. set up by the Minister of Overseas Trade and Marketing, Mr Moore, to promote trade by helping sector groups with their
marketing, undertaking research, and working with the Trade and Industry Department on trade promotion.
