Results from the Eagles Golfing Society’s under-18 championships at Avondale yesterday were:— Boys’ championship.—27 holes: C. Pemberton, 75, 34109; A. Hobbs, 75, 36-111; K. Marui, 78, 39-117; 27 holes nett: S. Tansey, 67, 28-95; A. Wild, 65, 36-101. 18 holes gross: J. Miles 79, J. Lawson 82. 18 holes nett: C. Allin 69.
Girls’ championship.—27 holes: R. Prescott, 88, 47-135; K. Starr, 91, 45-136. 18 holes nett: K. Williams 75.
The winners, Chris Pemberton and Rebecca Prescott, will contest the New Zealand Eagles championships in Wellington on September. 3 and 4.
