Wounded man found after girl shot
The Christchurch police found a man who had a bullet wound to the chest several hours after a girl, aged 11, had been shot at an address in Hornby yesterday morning. The pair, whose names were not available, were reported in a stable condition in Christchurch Hospital last evening. Detectives went to an address in 'Malabar Crescent about 11 a.m. yesterday after they were told
that a girl had been shot and wounded. It is believed thht the girl’s sister had called the police.’. The girl had been lying in bed when she was hit in the chest by a smallcalibre according to a police spokesman. She was taken to Christchurch Hospital for treaty ment. ; *
