Games aid rejected
PA Auckland The Minister of Recreation and Sport, Mr Moore, has rejected the idea that the Government underwrite the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland. The suggestion that the Government of any country in which the Games are being held underwrite any deficit came from Mr Robert Maxwell, the chairman of the Edln-
burgh Commonwealth Games company.
