MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY YOUNG MANAGEMENT TEAM We have been asked by our client, a rapidly expanding Investment Group, to assist them in the appointment of a person to fulfil the role of Management Accountant. This is a newly created position, resulting from expansion of their activities. The Organisation is progressive, with extensive Overseas trading through Subsidiary and Associate Companies. Reporting to the General Manager, the position forms part of the Management team and with the support of a small clerical staff be responsible for th.e total accounting functions of the operation. Whilst the bias is towards Management accounting it will involve areas of financial accounting. The position will appeal to a results orientated person who responds to a challenge of achieving and is seeking a position offering autonomy. Ideally as a candidate you will show:— ★ Soundly developed communication skills, a high level of self motivation, a professional presentation, an analytical approach to problem solving and strong Management skills with the ability to work effectively in a small team. ★ Knowledge of E.D.P. installations and procedures and be able to design and implement new systems. ★ B. Comm and/or A.C.A. qualified although consideration will be given to a person with some units to complete. ★ A minimum of 4-5 years practical accounting experience in a Commercial environment. ★ Age range preferably 25-45 years.
