PA Whangarei The future of Randall Mcllroy, aged 27, a forestry worker, this week appeared to revolve round the District Court at Kaikohe. He appeared in dock during the morning session, pleading guilty to charges of driving while disqualified and driving with excess breathalcohol. Judge Deobhakta said he wanted to know if Mcllroy, formerly of Rotorua, had a drink problem, so .ie remanded
him for a probation and alcohol assessment report until next month. Mcllroy returned with the answer sooner than expected. He was brought back before the Court in the afternoon after being arrested for drink-related charges by a traffic officer in Kaikohe. He was remanded without plea bn charges which were still to be decided until his sentencing day next month. “You Just got yourself a bigger problem,” the Judge told Mcllroy.
