Taiaha expected to have too much class for rivals at Ruakaka

Special correspondent Auckland Taiaha has not raced since early May but she is likely to have too much class for her rivals in the Auckland Thoroughbred Breeders’ Plate at the Whangarei Racing Club’s meeting at Ruakaka today. With a stake of $lO,OOO, this race is the richest on the programme, and considering the time of the year, has drawn a field in keeping with the prize. Certainly only four of
