Travel bursary to continue
PA Dunedin The University of Otago travel bursary scheme for students from the North Island will continue for a further three years.
The bursaries are mostly sponsored by Dunedin businesses and organisations. So far 538 school-leavers with high bursary marks have been helped by the grants to assist travel expenses. The scheme began four years ago. The bursaries are now worth $5OO.
