Feilding man on world sheep council
A Feilding man, Mr Richard Maxwell, has been elected to the executive committee of a 12nation World Sheep Breeders’ Council. The council was formed in Edmonton, Canada, this week by more than 300 delegates attending the first World Sheep and Wool Congress. Mr Maxwell Is president of the New Zealand Sheep Breeders’ Council. The council’s chairman is Mr Keith McLaughlin, of Tasmania, where the next congress will be held in 1989.
