Charity soccer special
NZPA-Reuter California The “superstar" Diego Maradona and his soccer , mates from Argentina and Brazil dominate the Americas side announced yesterday that will take on stars from the rest of the world in a charity game on Sunday. The game, to be televised- to a world-wide audience of 650 million, will be played to benefit children affected by the
earthquake that hit Mexico in September, 1985. Five players each from Argentina and Brazil are on the 18-man Americas roster, and that number would have been higher had it not been for injuries to Zico, of Brazil, and Daniel Passarelia, of Argentina. The rest of the world roster will be announced today.
