Public Notices AMURICOUNTY COUNCIL Notice of Special Order HANMER SPRINGS COMMUNITY COUNCIL NOTICE is hereby given that at an ordinary meeting of the Amurl County Council held on Friday, July 4, 1986, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of Council to be held on Friday, August 1,1986, at 1.30 p.m. at the Amur! Council Chambers, Main Road, Culverden. RESOLUTION: “That pursuant and In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Local Government Act 1974 and the various Amendments and Regulations made thereunder the Amurl County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order. 1. That the following specified portion of the County be constituted as a Community Council In terms of Section 57 of the Local Government Act 1974. All that area In the Canterbury Land District, County of Amur!, bounded by a line commencing at a point In line with the south-eastern comer of Lot 38, DP 16733, in the middle of the Christchurch Hanmer Springs Road situated in Block I Lyndon Survey District and proceeding north-easterly along the middle of the said road and Main Road to its Junction with the road forming the southern boundary of Rural Sections 41762 and 42114; thence easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the western boundary of Rural Section 42114, situated In Block n, Lyndon Survey district; thence northerly generally to and along the western boundary of Rural Section 42114, to the south-eastern corner of Section 42, Block XI, Hanmer Township; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the said Section 42 to Its north-eastern corner; thence again northerly along a right line to the south-western corner of Section 41, Block XI, Hanmer Township; thence easterly along the southern boundary of the said Section 41 to the western boundary of Rural Section 42114; thence northerly generally along the western boundaries of rural Section 42114 to the northeastern corner of Section 1, Block XI, Hanmer Township and the last mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Jollies Pass Road; thence north-easterly generally along the middle of Jollies Pass Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 35, Block VH, Hanmer Township; thence to and along the western boundaries of part Reserve 3782, Rural Section 40805 and part Reserve 3927, to the southern boundary of part Reserve 4880; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of part Reserve 4880 and Reserve 3661 to the eastern boundary of Reserve 3802; thence southerly, south-westerly and northerly along the eastern, south-eastern and western boundaries of Reserve 3802 to the southern boundary of Reserve 3661; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Reserve 3661, part Reserve 4880 and Reserve 5165 and the last mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Jacks Pass Road; thence northerly along the middle of Jacks Pass Road to a point In line with the southern boundary of Section 48, Block I, Lyndon Survey District; thence easterly and north-easterly to and along the southern and south-east-ern boundaries of Section 48 and the south-eastern boundary of Section 83 of Square 82 to Its north-eastern corner; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 83 and that boundary produced to the middle of Jacks Pass Road; thence south-westerly down the middle of Jacks Pass Road to a point In line with the southern boundary of the aforesaid Section 48; thence westerly to the northernmost point of Section 45, Block I, Lyndon Survey District; thence generally southerly along the western boundary of the said Section 45 to the northern boundary of Section 40, Hanmer Town Area; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the said Section 40 to Its western boundary; thence southerly along the western boundaries of Section 40, part Section 54 and Section 78, Hanmer Town Area and that boundary produced to the middle of the road forming the southern boundary of the said Section 78; thence easterly along the middle of the said road to the middle of Chatterton Terrace; thence southerly along the middle of Chatterton Terrace to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 14A Hanmer Town Area; thence easterly to and along the southern boundaries of Section 14A and Section 64, Hanmer Town Area to the westernmost point of Section 73 Hanmer Town Area; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the said Section 73 and that boundary produced to the middle of Argellns Road; thence southerly along the middle of that road to Its Junction with Woodbank Road; thence westerly along the middle of Woodbank Road to a point In line with the Western boundary of Lot 2, DP 44296; thence southerly to and along the western boundary of the said Lot 2 to Its southern boundary; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Lots 2 and 1, DP 44296, Lots 1,2 and 3, DP 14148, to the western boundary of Lot 1, DP 46500; thence southerly, easterly, northerly and again easterly along the western, southern, eastern and southern boundaries of Lot 1, DP 46500; thence again easterly along a right line to the south-western corner of Lot 12, DP 14148 and along the southern boundaries of Lots 12 and 13, DP 14148 to the western boundary of Lot 39, DP 16733; thence southerly and easterly along the western and southern boundaries of the said Lot 39 to the northwestern corner of Lot 23, DP 16733; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Lots 23, 24, 25 and 26, DP 16733, Lots 3 and 2, DP 42621, Lots 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37 and 38 DP 16733 to the south-western corner of the last mentioned lot; thence south-easterly along the gouth-western boundary of tot 38 and that boundary produced to the point of commencement. 2. That the district be constituted on the Eleventh day of October One thousand nine hundred and eighty six and that it be known as “The Hanmer Springs Community Council.” 3. That the first Hanmer Springs Community Council shall consist of six members. A plan showing the boundaries Is deposited at the Amurl County Council Office. A copy of the resolution Is deposited at the offices of the Amur! County Council, Main Road, Culverden and Is open to the inspection of the public during office hours until the said Ist day of August 1986. Dated at Culverden this 9th day of July 1986. B. J.
