New plant for works at Pukeuri
PA Oamaru Work has started on installing $5 million worth of new technology at Waitaki International’s Pukeuri works before the start of the next season.
■ The area manager, Mr Russell Plew, said the company’s works shut for the season this week and workmen were already dismantling sections of the slaughter chain where the new technology will go. It is hoped to have the work completed by Labour Day week-end.
