Irish appoint vice-consul
PA Auckland Mr John Hill, who has represented the Irish Tourist Board in New Zealand for the last 12 years, has been appointed the first honorary viceconsul of Ireland in New Zealand. The Honorary ConsulGeneral of Ireland, Mr Rodney Walshe, said the Auckland-based office was strengthening its role in the development of trade between Ireland and New Zealand.
