Scots music concert
Traditional Scottish music will be performed by the Kilmarnoch Quartet at the Arts Centre’s Centre Gallery at 1.10 p.m. on Friday.
The quartet’s members, John Doig, Richard Butler, Dayle Hadlee and Murray Compton, per form regularly at the Balmoral Restaurant at Kaiapoi.
Their instruments range from voice, guitar, mandolin and harmonica to piano accordian. Their repertoire is mainly Scottish, although some of their songs are drawn from Irish and English sources.
