Kiwifruit bonus Kiwifruit export firm, Kiwi Harvest, Ltd, has announced a bonus payment of $1 a tray. This is an additional payment to growers and follows the good opening prices of New Zealand kiwifruit in Japan, Europe and North America. Kiwi Harvest marketing director, Mr David Smith, said that the exchange rate of the New Zealand dollar had also been far more favourable during the trading period from May. Datacraft buy Datacraft, Ltd, has announced it will buy the total minority interest of 14 per cent in its New Zealand subsidiary, Datacraft - (NZ), Ltd.
The total consideration payable is about SNZI.S million. The agreement is for Datacraft to buy the minority shares in Datacraft (NZ) by payment of five instalments. The acquisition is to be completed by no later than June 30, 1987. Westpac purchase The Westpac Banking Corporation has announced that it has reached agreement to acquire William E. Pollock Government Securities Inc., one of the primary dealers in the U.S. Government securities market. The SUSIIS million purchase is expected to be finalised in October. Westpac will then become the only Australian institution to own a U.S. primary dealer,
