Contribution by brewery
The Dominion Breweries Westland brewery in Greymouth contributed more than $1.3 million to the West Coast economy in the last financial year, says the manager, Mr Dave Bolland.
Salaries and wages took up $1 million, and about $350,000 was spent on contracts, electricity, coal and accommodation.
