One of five Montreal Sikhs arrested last month on explosives-related conspiracy charges has been freed for lack of evidence. Charges ’ against Gurcharan Singh . Banwait, aged 38, were dropped, because transcripts from wire-tapped telephone calls showed he was not involved.—Montreal.
