The United States plans to sell Japan six anti- ' aircraft guns costing SUS7O million ($133 million). The PHALANX Close-In Weapon System, built mainly by General Dynamics Corporation, would be deployed on six Japanese Navy surface ships and would enhance the security of the western alliance, the Pentagon said. — Washingtom
