Careless taxi-talk banned
NZPA-Reuter Singapore Taxi-drivers who malign the Singaporean Government by holding "scandalous conversations” with passengers will be punished, their union says in the latest issue of its newsletter, “Comfort News.” The journal of the 6500member union did not mention how offending cabbies would be caught or disciplined. The union said it would educate drivers to understand the broader issues of Government policies and the economy that affected their livelihood.
