REQUIREMENTS: • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to gain respect and confidence of a wide range of people. • Well developed marketing philosophy, with a clear commitment for the need to provide total excellence in ongoing service and support to dealers and end users. • Sound experience and an understanding of the rational and the successful strategies employed in successfully selling capital equipment, including a comprehensive credit plan structure. • Ability to empathise with and understand the differing needs of retailers and end users, and to direct and motivate them to the benefit of all parties. • Capacity and drive to initiate and develop new business opportunities, and lead a team of specialist sales and service staff. • Preparedness to travel extensively, but not onorously, around N.Z., and internationally as appropriate. • Expertise and experience in preparing and implementing an annual Marketing Plan incorporating sales, dealer, and promotional budgets and activities.
