Pajingo gold

The United States’ third largest gold miner, Black Mountain Gold Company, will go ahead with development of its Pajingo prospect in western Queensland. It has been described by brokers as one of the most exciting gold properties in Australia. The decision was made after discounting a discovery of 1575 grams of gold per tonne in a two-metre intersection, found early last year. Pajingo Goldmine Pty, Ltd, had estimated an annual yield of 60,000 ounces of gold and 210,000 ounces of silver from its Scott Lode (formerly Janet A. Lode), with production due to begin in early 1988.
